Microsoft Technology Consulting Intern Overview
Microsoft is hiring Technology Consulting Interns in Hyderabad. As an intern you will participate in project planning, identify risks and dependencies, implement technical solutions aligned with customer business goals, and build relationships with customers, partners and stakeholders. You will work on real-world projects involving Microsoft technologies and cloud adoption while collaborating with global teams.
Genuine internship opportunity at Microsoft for students still pursuing their degree (must have at least one semester remaining after the internship). Strong fit if you are studying CS, Engineering, Business or related fields and have interest in consulting, Azure or cloud technologies. Pure final-year students with no remaining semester are not eligible.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Contribute to the pre-sales process by leveraging knowledge of business requirements to offer technical input and solution offerings
- Use technology knowledge to define customer/partner requirements and constraints with guidance
- Develop knowledge in intellectual property (IP) and leverage IP to complete assigned project tasks
- Communicate areas that need refreshing or gaps in intellectual property
- Identify issues and risks and engage with customers/partners or internal stakeholders to address and resolve them
- Identify opportunities to expand or accelerate the adoption and consumption of the cloud and Microsoft technologies
- Seek to understand relationships with customers/partners/stakeholders and contribute to drivers of satisfaction and root causes
- Participate in project planning by identifying risks and dependencies and proposing mitigations
- Implement technical solutions by coordinating and aligning with customers’ business goals
Eligibility Criteria for Microsoft Technology Consulting Intern
Must-Have Requirements
- Currently pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Business, or related field
- Must have at least 1 semester/term remaining following the completion of the internship
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical certifications based on domain/service line (e.g., Azure, Security, Dynamics)
- Delivery Management certification (e.g., Scrum, Agile, Change Management, Project Management)
