United Techno Trainee Software Engineer Overview
United Techno is hiring motivated Trainee Software Engineers / Junior AI Engineers to join their Product Engineering Services team in Chennai. This role focuses on developing and implementing machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex problems. You will work closely with senior engineers and data scientists on AI-driven products and solutions, making it an excellent opportunity for candidates passionate about Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
This is a good entry-level AI/ML role at United Techno for candidates with Python and basic machine learning knowledge. Ideal if you have hands-on projects in TensorFlow/PyTorch and want to grow in a product engineering environment. Freshers with strong fundamentals are welcome.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of AI and machine learning algorithms
- Collaborate with the team to gather requirements and understand business needs
- Participate in data collection, preprocessing, and analysis for model training
- Implement and test machine learning models to meet project specifications
- Contribute to code reviews and maintain best practices in coding and documentation
- Stay updated on AI trends and recommend relevant tools and techniques
Eligibility Criteria for United Techno Junior AI Engineer
Must-Have Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
- Proficiency in Python (and preferably R)
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch)
- Basic understanding of data manipulation using Pandas and NumPy
- Knowledge of OOP, SQL, and version control (Git)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
