Roles and Responsibilities
- Requirement Elicitation: Conduct interviews, workshops, focus groups to gather detailed business needs
- Requirement Analysis: Prioritize, break down requirements into functional/non-functional; resolve gaps/conflicts
- Documentation: Create BRDs, Functional Specs, Use Cases, User Stories, Process Flows
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as liaison between business and technical teams; facilitate meetings/presentations
- Solution Design & Implementation: Translate requirements into specs; support design reviews and solution alignment
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop test plans/cases/scripts; conduct/support UAT and gather feedback
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Perform analysis for insights; create dashboards/reports/KPIs
- Project Management: Manage timelines/deliverables; monitor progress, risks, issues
- Continuous Improvement: Identify process enhancements; promote innovation
- Training & Support: Provide training/support on new systems/processes; post-implementation troubleshooting
- Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on trends/regulations; apply domain insights
Eligibility Criteria for Deloitte Business Analyst (Senior Consultant)
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Engineering or related field (MBA preferred but not mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodology
- Hands-on expertise in SQL
- Hands-on experience with Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Gliffy
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and communication skills
- Proven experience in consulting/analytics/corporate strategy (good to have)
Preferred Skills
- Certification in business analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA)
- Good understanding of Data Visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Basic knowledge of Web-services (POSTMAN, SOAP)
- Basic understanding of Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS)
- Basic understanding of AI, GenAI, RPA, and emerging technologies
- Experience working on UI Screens / UX designs/wireframes (Figma, etc.)
