Poppulo is hiring a Graduate Machine Learning Engineer for their Bengaluru office. This is a fantastic entry-level role for freshers who are passionate about AI/ML and Generative AI. You’ll work on building AI-powered features for their employee and customer communications platform, using real data and production systems, with mentorship from experienced AI engineers.
This is a genuine Graduate ML Engineer role at a solid tech company. Best suited for candidates who have done ML projects, played with PyTorch/TensorFlow, and have basic Generative AI exposure. If you only have theoretical knowledge without any hands-on coding or projects, your chances are low. Good opportunity if you want to work on practical AI applications in communications tech.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI/ML solutions to solve real business challenges
- Build and productionize AI/GenAI systems using existing frameworks and pre-trained models
- Create rapid Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to validate new ideas
- Fine-tune models and optimize training/inference performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring ML innovations into products
- Stay updated with latest research and SOTA in AI/ML

Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or related field
- Strong Python programming skills
- Basic to intermediate understanding of Machine Learning concepts
- Hands-on experience with ML libraries like PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Curiosity and excitement about Generative AI (ChatGPT, image generators, etc.)
Preferred / Added Advantage
