Job Description – Junior Cloud Test Engineer I
This role is designed as onsite, with primary work from an HPE office. You will be part of a cloud engineering team working on testing, automation, and quality assurance for cloud-based applications and networking solutions.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cloud application modules as per feature specifications while adhering to security policies
- Design test plans and execute manual and automated test cases for assigned application components
- Deploy code, identify defects, and debug issues across environments
- Collaborate with peers, senior engineers, technical writers, and managers to review and share technical ideas
- Analyze engineering, system, and data-related problems to implement scalable and effective solutions
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related quantitative discipline
- Preferred: Master’s degree
- Experience: Typically 0–2 years
Required Technical Skills
- Programming experience in Python, Cypress, Java, Golang, or JavaScript
- Understanding of basic software testing, coding, and debugging practices
- Familiarity with DevOps concepts such as CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work effectively in a team
- Good written and verbal communication skills
