Job Description – Junior Cloud Test Engineer I

This role is designed as onsite, with primary work from an HPE office. You will be part of a cloud engineering team working on testing, automation, and quality assurance for cloud-based applications and networking solutions.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain cloud application modules as per feature specifications while adhering to security policies
  • Design test plans and execute manual and automated test cases for assigned application components
  • Deploy code, identify defects, and debug issues across environments
  • Collaborate with peers, senior engineers, technical writers, and managers to review and share technical ideas
  • Analyze engineering, system, and data-related problems to implement scalable and effective solutions

Eligibility Criteria

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related quantitative discipline
  • Preferred: Master’s degree
  • Experience: Typically 0–2 years

Required Technical Skills

  • Programming experience in Python, Cypress, Java, Golang, or JavaScript
  • Understanding of basic software testing, coding, and debugging practices
  • Familiarity with DevOps concepts such as CI/CD pipelines
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work effectively in a team
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
