Technical Writer Roles and Responsibilities
- Create, develop, plan, write and edit operational, instructional, maintenance, test or user manuals
- Prepare technical data for routine technical publications and product support literature
- Follow standard practices to analyse situations or data and derive answers
- Contribute to the timely design, production and delivery of product documentation sets
- Work with engineering teams to understand product features and translate into clear documentation
- Edit and proofread content for accuracy, clarity and consistency
- Support multimedia or web-based publications as needed
