Tester I Roles and Responsibilities
- Construct systematic test cases by referring to test scenarios based on user stories or requirements
- Execute test cases and ensure new components perform to expectations
- Validate standards, including usability, performance, reliability and compatibility
- Document test results and report defects
- Develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts for API testing using Java
- Create test plans and ensure comprehensive coverage
- Collaborate with teams to design test scenarios and track defects to resolution
- Conduct regression, load and performance testing
- Participate in code reviews and follow best practices
- Document procedures, results and reports
