Siemens Mobility is hiring a Test Automation Developer for their Test Tool Suites in Pune. This role focuses on building robust desktop applications and automation tools using Python (with Java as a plus) to support efficient testing in lab and development environments. You will work in an agile, global setup (Germany, India, Hungary) developing solutions that enhance testing productivity for the team.
This is a strong technical role at Siemens for candidates with solid Python skills and interest in test automation/tool development. Excellent opportunity if you enjoy building internal tools and working in a global agile environment. The hybrid model after 6 months of probation. Python experience is mandatory.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain test automation tool suites and desktop applications
- Create Python-based scripts and tools for test process automation and data management
- Integrate tools with various testing frameworks
- Document best practices and contribute to the knowledge base
- Train and support colleagues on using the test tool suites
- Collaborate with international teams in an agile environment
Eligibility Criteria for Siemens Test Automation Developer
Must-Have Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field
- Excellent programming skills with strong experience in Python (mandatory)
- Understanding of software testing principles and automation concepts
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Very good written and spoken English
