EY Analyst – Assurance Overview
EY is hiring an Analyst for the National Assurance – ASU – Audit – Standards and Methodologies team in Bangalore. This role supports audit standards, methodologies and data-driven assurance work. You will work on client engagements, apply analytics and automation tools, and contribute to continuous improvement in audit processes across sectors.
Entry-level analytics-focused role in EY Assurance. Best suited for BCA graduates with 0-1 year experience who know Alteryx, Power BI, SQL or Python and are comfortable with audit-related data work. Pure coding or pure accounting profiles without analytics interest may not match well.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members
- Adhere to deadlines on assigned tasks and collaborate on multiple engagements simultaneously
- Engage in client discussions to understand business processes and requirements
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies including AI, and best practices in audit analytics and data management
- Apply technical skills in data management, analytics and automation tools
- Support continuous improvement and adoption of best practices in audit methodologies
- Work collaboratively in diverse teams and maintain strong communication
Eligibility Criteria for EY Analyst – Assurance
Must-Have Requirements
- Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)
- 0 to 1 years of experience
- Proficiency in Alteryx, Power BI, SQL and data management related skills
- Knowledge of Python / PySpark, AI/ML models and AI applications in analytics
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Python, VBA Macros, UiPath, Power Automate
- Excellent communication and confident speaking skills
- Strong multitasking, attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel and flexibility to work on weekends/holidays as needed
