Equifax Technology Engineering Trainee Overview

Equifax is hiring Technology Engineering Trainees in Trivandrum for its Early Careers program. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software
  • Translate functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design

  • Participate in code and design reviews as part of the technical community to uphold high development standards
  • Work on system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance
  • Contribute to innovation with exposure to Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP) and infrastructure automation tools (Docker, Terraform, Chef, RPM, AWS ECS/ECR, etc.)

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other Technology-related field (Graduation date around June 2024)
  • Experience or coursework in Java, Python, or similar programming languages
  • Ability to write high-quality, robust, and maintainable code
  • Experience in debugging, diagnosing, and troubleshooting complex production software
  • Detailed knowledge of modern software development life cycles including CI/CD
  • Experience developing accessible technologies
  • Ability to operate across a broad business unit with multiple stakeholders
