Microsoft Data Science Intern Overview
Microsoft is hiring Data Science Interns across multiple locations in India. You will use machine learning, statistics and experiments to solve real product problems, collaborate with stakeholders, and deliver insights that impact millions of customers while working on cutting-edge technology.
Solid Microsoft internship for current students who still have at least one semester left after the internship ends. Best for those already comfortable with data exploration, basic ML/stats and who can explain their thinking clearly. Final-year students with no remaining semester or pure coding profiles without data focus will not fit the requirement.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate approaches to solve problems using well-defined algorithms and data sources
- Incorporate product functionality and customer perspective to give context to problems
- Use data exploration techniques to discover new questions or opportunities and propose data applicability/limitations
- Interpret analysis results, validate approaches, and iterate for continuous improvement
- Engage with peer stakeholders to produce clear, actionable insights that influence product and service improvements
- Participate in peer review process and learn innovative methods, algorithms and tools
Eligibility Criteria for Microsoft Data Science Intern
Must-Have Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field
- Must have at least one additional quarter/semester of school remaining after the internship ends
