Roles and Responsibilities
- Write and optimise complex PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, functions and packages
- Develop and maintain database objects for high-performance applications
- Perform query tuning and database performance optimisation
- Work with Oracle tools like SQL Developer, TOAD
- Collaborate with development teams and project managers
- Ensure code quality and follow database best practices
- Support production deployments and troubleshooting
Required Skills
Must Have:
- Strong hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development
- Excellent knowledge of SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers
- Understanding of performance tuning (Explain Plan, Indexes, Hints)
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Good to Have:
- Exposure to Oracle EBS (E-Business Suite)
- Experience with tools: SQL Developer, TOAD, PL/SQL Developer
- Basic knowledge of Unix/Linux and shell scripting
- Any Oracle certification (OCP is a big plus)
Eligibility Criteria 2025
- Education: BE/BTech/MCA/MSc (CS/IT) with 60%+ throughout
- Experience: 0-3 years (Strong freshers with PL/SQL projects/certification welcome)
- Location: Bangalore (Currently WFO, hybrid later)
