Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute post-silicon validation tests and debugging for high-speed SerDes IP (PCIe, Ethernet, etc.)
- Create evaluation scripts and automation tools to enhance lab efficiency
- Run comprehensive tests, analyze results, and troubleshoot issues in an R&D test lab
- Perform signal integrity measurements and analog characterization using lab equipment (BERTs, VNAs, Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of analog/digital designers
Eligibility Criteria for Synopsys SerDes Post Silicon Validation Apprenticeship
Mandatory Requirements
- BE / BTech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), VLSI, or equivalent
- Year of Passing: 2024 or 2025 only (fresh graduates)
- Solid understanding of serial data link measurement techniques and signal integrity
- Familiarity with post-silicon (analog) validation and analog characterization of SerDes IP
- Exposure to high-speed protocols (PCIe, JESD, Ethernet, USB) and compliance testing
- Hands-on experience or coursework with lab equipment (BERTs, VNAs, Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers)
- Programming experience in Matlab, C/C++, and/or Python
- Not enrolled in any M.Tech/postgraduate diploma and not in full-time employment

- Former FPGA prototyping experience
