Collins Aerospace Associate Engineer – Data Analytics Overview
Collins Aerospace (a RTX company) is hiring an Associate Engineer – Data Analytics in Bengaluru. In this role you will collect, clean, and analyse operational and quality data, build automated dashboards, and support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and engineering teams.
Good entry-level data analytics role in aerospace manufacturing. Ideal for freshers or candidates with 0–2 years experience who are comfortable with Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and basic data handling. Pure coding or pure software development candidates without any analytics/dashboard exposure will find this role mismatched.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, validate, standardize, and maintain operational and quality data across business systems
- Partner with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Program teams to deliver data for leadership reviews
- Develop automated dashboards and KPI reports for leadership and business reviews
- Drive reporting and process automation using Microsoft Tools
- Analyze trends across quality, manufacturing, supplier, and operational metrics to provide actionable insights
- Support Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and process improvement initiatives focused on cost, quality, delivery, and productivity

Must-Have Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Production, Aerospace, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related discipline)
- Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of relevant industry experience
- Basic understanding of data analytics and data visualization concepts
- Exposure to Microsoft tools and/or Tableau through academic projects, internships, certifications, or professional experience
- Familiarity with AI tools and interest in applying them to engineering and business processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Willingness to learn, collaborate, and work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills
