Fujitsu Junior Data Engineer Overview
Fujitsu is hiring a Junior Data Engineer to support day-to-day monitoring, first-level checks, basic troubleshooting, data validation, and documentation for data engineering pipelines and applications. This is an entry-level production support role focused on ETL/ELT processes, SQL, incident management, and operational excellence under the guidance of senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor scheduled data pipeline runs, job status, alerts, and file arrivals
- Perform first-level checks for failed jobs, missing files, incomplete loads, and data mismatches
- Create, update, and track incidents and service requests in ServiceNow
- Run basic SQL queries, perform data validation, and support reconciliation
- Collect logs and supporting details before escalating complex issues
- Assist with documentation, runbooks, SOPs, and daily status updates
- Support routine production support and operational reporting tasks
Eligibility Criteria for Fujitsu Junior Data Engineer
Core Skills Required
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data validation
- Experience or interest in pipeline monitoring and production support
- Familiarity with incident management and ServiceNow (or similar tools)
- Good documentation and first-level troubleshooting skills
Good-to-Have Skills
- File-based ingestion and SFTP basics
- Awareness of AWS S3, AWS Glue, Snowflake, or Databricks
- Basic Python knowledge
- Experience with CloudWatch or similar monitoring tools
- Willingness to learn data engineering support processes
