Volvo Group Graduate Apprentice Trainee Overview
Volvo Group is hiring Graduate Apprentice Trainees for its Trucks Technology & Industrial Division in Bangalore. This role focuses on developing Python-based solutions for the verification framework, mock components, APIs and automated tests in a Scrum/SAFe environment.
Solid product-company apprenticeship at Volvo for CS/Electronics freshers who already know basic Python and have interest in testing/frameworks. Best for people who want hands-on coding in a verification environment rather than pure support roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Python-based solutions for the verification framework
- Develop mock components to simulate the behavior of real systems
- Develop web-based APIs using REST and STOMP
- Write automated tests for end-user functionalities
- Work in a Scrum team and support SAFe release trains
- Contribute to the design and continuous improvement of the verification framework
Eligibility Criteria for Volvo Group Graduate Apprentice Trainee
Must-Have Requirements
- BE/B.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or a related field
- Basic understanding of embedded systems
- Strong interest in programming with knowledge of Python
- Understanding of software testing concepts (unit, functional and integration testing)
- Basic understanding of APIs and client-server communication
- Willingness to learn new technologies, collaborate and solve technical problems
- Willingness to work in Bangalore
