CSG Software Development Engineer I Overview

CSG is hiring a Software Development Engineer I to join their Public Cloud Architecture team. You will implement features and bug fixes in existing .NET APIs/services and React front-ends. The team is responsible for developing standards, engineering patterns, and assisting in public cloud operations across CSG. Key Responsibilities

  • Implement well-scoped features and bug fixes in existing .NET APIs/services and React front-ends, following established patterns, coding standards, and security guidelines
  • Write, debug, and maintain clean, testable C# and JavaScript/TypeScript code, including basic unit and integration tests (e.g., xUnit, NUnit, Jest, React Testing Library)
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and product partners to understand requirements, break down work, and estimate tasks
  • Participate in code reviews as both author and reviewer, incorporating feedback to improve code quality, performance, and security
  • Help maintain technical documentation for owned components (API contracts, configuration, deployment/runbooks)

Required Qualifications:
