Java L1 Support Overview
LensKart is hiring a Java L1 Support Engineer for their plant operations in Manesar/Bhiwadi. This role focuses on resolving production issues in their tech systems, bridging the gap between warehouse/operations teams and the core development team. It involves troubleshooting live issues, translating operational problems into technical requirements, and ensuring smooth system functioning in a fast-paced environment.
This is a genuine L1 support role with night shifts (9 PM – 6 AM) at the LensKart plant. Ideal for freshers or candidates with 1 year experience who are comfortable working in a factory/plant environment and have basic Java + MySQL knowledge. Not suitable if you are looking for pure development or day shifts.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Handle Tech production issues in the plant on priority
- Communicate with Warehouse supervisors and operations teams to understand daily issues
- Translate complex functional requirements into technical requirements
- Design, develop and maintain systems using best practices
- Participate in the complete software development life cycle
- Drive bug triage process and ensure high-quality, scalable solutions
- Collaborate with core development team and explain issues technically
- Stay updated with latest technologies and evaluate open-source solutions
- Report status of product delivery and quality to stakeholders
Eligibility Criteria for Java L1 Support
Must-Have Requirements
- BTech in Computer Science or MCA
- Basic knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals
- Basic Java and MySQL knowledge
- Understanding of Web Applications
- Strong communication skills to interact with operations teams
- Willingness to work in Night Shift (9 PM – 6 AM) at Plant location
Preferred Skills
- 0-1 year of relevant experience
- Experience in production support or troubleshooting live issues
- Basic understanding of SDLC and software engineering practices
