Razorpay is hiring freshers for the role of Junior Analyst in their Risk Management team in Bengaluru. This role focuses on monitoring transactions for fraud/risk, handling chargebacks, customer disputes, and working with banks & cybercell to minimize losses. It’s a good opportunity for candidates who are strong in communication and have attention to detail.
This is a non-technical fresher role in risk & fraud management at Razorpay. Perfect for people who are good at communication, can handle phone/email conversations calmly, and have attention to detail. If you dislike customer-facing work or repetitive monitoring tasks, this might not be the best fit. Good learning opportunity in fintech risk domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor transactions and merchants to identify potential risk or fraud and take immediate action
- Handle transaction queries and disputes raised by customers
- Work closely with partner banks and Cybercell for chargeback handling and timely recovery
- Speak with merchants and customers over phone/email to resolve queries and concerns
- Identify ways to improve processes and reduce monetary losses due to fraud/risk
- Detect anomalies and suspicious behaviors in transactions
Eligibility Criteria for Razorpay Junior Analyst Risk Management
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent listening skills and attention to detail
- Good interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask and handle queries from multiple stakeholders
Preferred / Added Advantage
- Knowledge of chargeback process, stages, reason codes, and Visa/Mastercard guidelines
- Familiarity with any customer support tool or CRM (e.g., Freshdesk)
- Prior experience in customer support, BPO, or operations (not mandatory)
- Interest in fintech and risk management domain
