Amazon IT Support Associate Overview
Amazon is hiring an IT Support Associate to provide first-level technical support for operations teams within the Fulfillment Center. The role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and system issues across multiple technical disciplines. Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for Fulfillment Center operations
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system issues
- Support and maintain printers (Zebra thermal), thin clients, PCs, scanners, and handheld terminals
- Perform network engineering, data cabling, and systems administration tasks
- Conduct root cause analysis and assist with daily IT department activities
- Mentor Technical Support Technicians and act as IT representative to internal customers
Eligibility Criteria for Amazon IT Support Associate
Must-Have Requirements
- 1+ years of corporate experience supporting Windows, Mac, or Linux operating systems
- Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems
- Hands-on experience maintaining thermal printers, thin clients, PCs, scanners, and handheld devices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, Linux (Red Hat), Microsoft hardware, or AWS certifications
- Willingness to learn and apply new technologies
