Hitachi Solutions AI Developer Overview

Hitachi Solutions is hiring an AI Developer in Chennai (hybrid) to build AI/LLM-powered components that convert legacy Nintex workflows into modern Power Automate flows. The role involves prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, LLM API integration, parsing engines, and quality evaluation of model outputs.

Specialized AI + engineering role focused on LLM-driven workflow conversion. Best suited for candidates with hands-on experience in prompt engineering, RAG, Node.js/TypeScript or Python parsing, and LLM APIs. Pure data science or pure frontend profiles without coding + LLM integration experience will not match.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop AI/LLM components including prompt engineering with schema-constrained output, LLM API integration (Anthropic / OpenAI / Azure OpenAI), and RAG or classification pipelines
  • Integrate solutions via REST APIs, webhooks, Azure CLI / Azure AD authentication flows, and MCP server endpoints
  • Own quality through automated workflow validation tests and eval harnesses that score model output fidelity
  • Document unsupported or manually reviewed conversion cases
  • Build and maintain the parsing/conversion engine (Node.js/TypeScript or Python) that reads XML/JSON-based Nintex workflow definitions and generates equivalent Power Automate flow logic

Eligibility Criteria for Hitachi Solutions AI Developer

Must-Have Skills

  • Core Programming & Parsing: Node.js / TypeScript or Python; XML/JSON parsing; experience building parsers, ASTs, or rule engines; Regex / expression-language conversion
  • AI / LLM Engineering: Prompt engineering & structured output generation; LLM API integration (Anthropic, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI); RAG or classification pipelines; Coding Agent experience (Claude / GitHub Copilot); Eval-harness / model output scoring
  • Integration: MCP (Model Context Protocol) server development; Azure CLI / Azure AD authentication; REST API integration & webhook handling
  • Testing & Quality: Test automation for workflow/flow validation; application-level testing best practices

Nice-to-Have

  • SharePoint / M365 admin experience
