Virtusa is hiring for GCP Tech Support Agent (Cloud Operations) role in Bangalore. This is a front-line cloud support position where you will be the first point of contact for users facing issues with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Google Workspace. The role focuses on troubleshooting, ticket triage, runbook execution, monitoring, and providing quick resolutions using dashboards, logs, and AI tools.
Good entry-level cloud support role for candidates with basic GCP knowledge and strong troubleshooting mindset. Ideal if you enjoy helping users and want to build hands-on experience in Google Cloud. The Google Cloud Digital Leader certification is mandatory, so only apply if you already have it or can clear it quickly. Not suitable if you want pure development/coding roles.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Monitor and triage incoming tickets via Jira/ServiceNow by severity and root cause
- Provide first-level support for GCP services (VM restarts, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, IAM, etc.)
- Handle Google Workspace issues – password resets, 2SV recovery, Shared Drive access
- Execute standard runbooks and step-by-step guides for known issues
- Perform health checks using Google Cloud Operations Suite (Stackdriver)
- Analyze logs using Cloud Logging and leverage AI tools (Gemini) for faster resolution
- Ensure timely resolution of common infrastructure and collaboration issues
Eligibility Criteria for Virtusa GCP Support Role

- 0–2 years experience in IT Support, Help Desk, or Cloud Operations
- Google Cloud Digital Leader Certification (Mandatory)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent
