Invesco is hiring a Junior Risk Analyst for its Risk Measurement Team in Hyderabad. Roles and Responsibilities
- Support the maintenance and enhancement of the global risk measurement platform (MSCI RiskMetrics)
- Monitor, analyze, and report market risk, liquidity risk, and leverage across global funds
- Perform portfolio risk measurement, stress testing, and scenario analysis
- Conduct research and quantitative/qualitative analysis for stakeholders
- Collaborate with global Risk teams to improve risk infrastructure
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal risk requirements
Eligibility Criteria for Invesco Junior Risk Analyst
Must-Have Requirements
- 0-2 years of experience in Market Risk or related quantitative roles
- Understanding of risk models — VaR, Volatility, Tracking Error, etc.
- Working knowledge of SQL or Python
- Sound understanding of financial instruments and derivatives pricing
- MBA / MS / B.Tech in Finance, Quantitative Finance, Statistics, or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic familiarity with MSCI RiskMetrics
- CFA / FRM / CQF certification (in progress or completed)
- Exposure to risk systems like BarraOne, Aladdin, or Axioma
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
