KPMG Executive – Data and App Modernization Overview
KPMG India is hiring for an Executive – Data and App Modernization role in Mumbai. The position focuses on building dynamic web applications using Angular, front-end development, REST APIs, and application modernization techniques. This is a good opportunity for candidates with strong Angular and front-end skills to work in a Big 4 consulting environment.
This role is more of an Angular Frontend Developer position than pure Data Modernization. Good fit for candidates with 1-4 years of hands-on Angular experience. If you’re strong in Angular, NgRx, and building modern web apps, this can be a nice Big 4 brand on your CV. Freshers without solid Angular projects should skip.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Building dynamic and adaptable web applications using Angular
- Performing analysis of product development and delivering comprehensive front-end software
- Working with back-end programmers to create and integrate REST APIs
- Developing front-end application and asset infrastructure
- Configuring, constructing and testing scripts within CI/CD environment
- Using advanced techniques such as multi-threading for non-blocking code
- Working with Angular CLI for web application coding and configuration
- Interacting with external website services and third-party integrations
- Collaborating with HTML programmers and graphic designers on workflow
- Writing clean, maintainable HTML, JavaScript, and CSS code
- Making technical and design decisions for Angular projects
Eligibility Criteria for KPMG Executive Role
Must-Have Requirements
- Any Graduate or Postgraduate (BE/BTech, MCA, MSc preferred)
- Strong experience in the Angular framework
- Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and TypeScript
- Experience with REST APIs and front-end integration
- Good understanding of application performance optimization
Good to Have Skills
- Experience with state management libraries (NgRx or NGXS)
- Knowledge of module federation and lazy loading
- Exposure to unit testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma)
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in application modernization projects
