Jio Graduate Engineer Trainee Network Overview
Reliance Jio is hiring freshers for the role of Graduate Engineer Trainee – Network in Mumbai. This role focuses on network planning, design, capacity planning, and engineering for LTE, FTTH, and Enterprise networks. It’s a good opportunity for candidates with strong networking fundamentals who want to build a career in Telecom Network Engineering.
This is a core Network Engineering GET role at Jio. Best suited for candidates with solid Computer Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, OSI, routing, switching, etc.). CCNA certification is preferred but not mandatory. If you are from non-CS/IT branches but have good networking concepts, you can still apply. Expect involvement in planning, capacity, and execution work rather than pure coding.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand requirements from business, planning, and regulatory teams
- Plan network design and architecture for various businesses
- Conduct operational and network capacity planning to ensure congestion-free network
- Execute detailed engineering for LTE, FTTH, and Enterprise networks
- Assist in vendor evaluation and validation
- Generate engineering documents and monthly operating plans
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and ensure adherence to SOPs
- Enhance technical knowledge through seminars and webinars
Eligibility Criteria for Jio GET Network
Mandatory Requirements
- B.E. / B.Tech in any discipline
- Strong knowledge of Computer Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, OSI Model, etc.)
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player with technical orientation
Preferred / Added Advantage
- Certification in Cisco CCNA (preferred)
- Familiarity with software engineering practices and development models
- Knowledge of LTE, FTTH, or Enterprise networks
