HARMAN Associate Engineer – AWS DevOps Overview
HARMAN is hiring an Associate Engineer for AWS DevOps role in Bangalore. This is a great entry-level opportunity for candidates with foundational knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes. You will work on building and maintaining automation pipelines while gaining hands-on experience in modern DevOps practices in an automotive technology environment.
This is a strong junior DevOps role at HARMAN for candidates with basic CI/CD and containerization knowledge. Ideal if you want to build expertise in GitLab CI, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes. Full on-site (5 days a week) — apply only if you’re comfortable with that.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and Jenkins
- Support automation of build, test, and deployment workflows
- Work with Docker for containerizing applications
- Support deployments and basic operations on Kubernetes clusters
- Monitor pipeline executions and troubleshoot failures
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline delivery
- Learn and apply DevOps best practices and infrastructure management
Eligibility Criteria for HARMAN Associate Engineer – AWS DevOps
Must-Have Requirements
- 0-1 year of experience (including internships or academic projects)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and pipelines
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes fundamentals
- Familiarity with Linux and basic scripting (Python/Shell)
- Strong willingness to learn cloud-native technologies
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms
