Entropik QA Automation & AI Intern Overview
Entropik is hiring a QA Automation & AI Intern for their Chennai office. This is NOT a traditional manual testing role — manual testing will be minimal. You will work on building intelligent, scalable testing systems and explore how AI can transform quality engineering. You’ll design automation frameworks, explore AI-driven testing approaches, and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
If you think QA means clicking buttons and writing manual test cases — this is NOT for you. This role is for people who like building tools, writing code (Python/JS), and are curious about AI in testing. Basic programming is mandatory. Exposure to Selenium, Playwright, or any automation framework will put you ahead. Chennai candidates only (full-time office).
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and building automation frameworks for web applications
- Work with the team to explore AI-driven and agent-based testing approaches
- Contribute to integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines (shift-left testing)
- Help build tools/utilities to improve test coverage and efficiency
- Identify bugs, support debugging, and ensure product quality
- Collaborate closely with the Engineering and Product teams

Mandatory Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Basic programming knowledge (Python or JavaScript preferred)
- Strong interest in automation, AI, and quality engineering
- Eagerness to learn, experiment, and build in a fast-paced environment
Bonus Points (Preferred)
- Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, etc.)
- Basic understanding of CI/CD workflows
- Curiosity about applying AI in testing
- Familiarity with testing concepts (UI/API testing is a plus)
