LoadShare AI Engineer Overview

LoadShare is hiring an AI Engineer for its Bengaluru office. You will build AI agents that query databases, analyze logistics data, and answer business questions for operations, product, and leadership teams. You’ll own the MCP (Model Context Protocol) layer connecting LLMs to Redshift, MySQL, and internal APIs. This is a serious applied AI role — not just calling APIs, but building production-grade agents.

This is NOT a typical fresher “AI Engineer” title with zero expectations. You need to actually understand LLM tool-calling, agent architectures, and database connectivity. If you have built agents using LangChain, CrewAI, or similar — apply. If you only know how to write prompts for ChatGPT, you will struggle. Experience with MCP or similar tool-use patterns will make you a top candidate. Bengaluru candidates only.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deploy AI agents that query databases, analyze logistics data, perform root cause analysis, and answer business questions
  • Own and evolve the LoadShare MCP — connecting LLMs (Claude, Gemini, etc.) to Redshift, MySQL read replicas, and internal APIs
  • Evaluate multiple agent architectures on output accuracy, latency, and token cost
  • Optimize agent tool-calling workflows — reducing unnecessary LLM calls, improving context retrieval
  • Build and maintain a shared context layer (table schemas, business rules, metric definitions, join patterns)
  • Contribute to AI-powered voice agents for grievance classification, rider support, and customer interaction
  • Support the engineering team in adopting AI tools — building skills, MCP connectors, and reusable components
  • Implement robust security patterns for AI-to-database access (read-only user provisioning, IAM role mapping, query guardrails)

Eligibility Criteria for LoadShare AI Engineer

Required Experience

  • 0–3 years of experience in AI/ML engineering or related field
  • Location: Bengaluru (work from office)

Good to Have (Highly Valued)

  • Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or similar tool-use patterns for LLMs
  • Familiarity with n8n, Metabase, or similar workflow/analytics platforms
  • Experience building voice AI or conversational AI systems
  • Background in logistics, supply chain, or operations technology
  • Contributions to open-source AI projects or published work in applied AI
  • Experience with agent evaluation frameworks and benchmarking methodologies
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and infrastructure-as-code
